God's Creation

As humanity moves forward we must see signs of development, not only in industries and technology but also from every side that’s related to our lives. Lately I’ve noticed an issue that had been there for a long time but recently I started facing that issue more often. It bothers and saddens me to see such matter still exists between societies. Racism, I’m not talking about white and black kind of racism not that it doesn’t upset me but about people who define you based on the place you come from in general.

Almost a year ago I had a conversation with one of my friends and she showed me how disgusted was she from another person because that person isn’t “Pure blooded” and by that I mean not made of 100% Arabic blood -funny isn’t it? It sounds like a muggle and wizard talk- the only thing I said was, “That woman and I have the same family name, do I disgust you?” She was in shock because she didn’t expect that kind of question from her friend, she responded by saying “No you’re different!” as if that’s a good excuse but yes! I am different; all of us are different though we have some things in common:
          I.         We are god’s creation.
II.         One day we’ll die and we won’t be able to take anything with us to that dark space called “grave.”
III.         We’ll either go to heaven or hell, and at that moment our “blood” won’t intercedes in that matter.

I’m writing this based on a personal experience because there are some people who treated me and other people based on our race. The amusing part is that they end the conversation with “just kidding” but we know that they meant it and it hurts! You know why? Because they’re like mirrors that look at the outer appearance but don’t bother looking at what’s underneath.

Couple of days ago the exact thing happened to me again where a friend mocked my accent blaming my origin but this time I didn’t shut up, I attacked her saying “That’s who I am and I don’t care about what others think.”

My point is that no one should be judged and none of us have the right to judge any person based on that perspective. All of us are humans with hearts that are filled with emotions. Don’t let a ridiculous subject come between you and any other person.

Salman al Farsi was “Persian” but prophet Mohammed -peace be upon him- informed him about his place in heaven, but Abu Lahab who’s “Pure blooded” god showed us his fate in surat al Masad.

  1. Nice post and perfectly done here, I really hate racist people, it doesn't make sense to blame a person for something he had no choice in it, beside it's God's creation and you at least have to respect it for that. I really like how you write even that there's no serious traffic on your blog! keep it up, and btw you inspired me to start writing, I was thinking about it, but now I will. Thank you.
