Thirty Days

Today we’ll witness a new month, a new era for the ones who are looking for a change. What makes those thirty days so special? There are lots of thirty days in a year, right? But no one can deny how special they are! Not because our routine changes or because we get to eat two meals in a day which improve our health lifestyle. It’s much more than that! Those thirty days touch our hearts and minds leaving us in awe. I pity those who waste time during those blessed days, I’m not doubting their faith and beliefs but it breaks my heart to see them ignore those blissful moments..

THIRTY DAYS sound like ordinary days, but they’re filled with blessings and moments where you can feel that hearts are closer to god.. More forgiving.. More giving and less taking..

I find people change to the better and I pray that god help me to be like them or even better –yes, I’m selfish I want the “better”-

I see some of us are facing the TV, wasting their time watching meaningless things while others are busy reading and wondering the holy Quran and its verses for the sixth time during the thirty days.

Some of us attempt to be better, to change, to be the perfect Muslim while others are still busy chasing this immortal cheap things that they’re going to leave behind.

It’s the time where you can refresh your faith, get closer to Allah, to help others find the right route, to set your heart free, to guarantee your place in paradise. Use it, don’t let it go..

I’m not forcing you to give more, I’m trying to give you a reason to work harder and give more because god always gives us more than we need. During those thirty days lot of things can take a different path, so try because we don’t know if we’ll be there to witness the next holy thirty days! Maybe this year our books will be clean like the day we were born. I find it worth our hard work, right? I’m sure that happiness, joy, security and every great feeling will fill our hearts because god never reject the ones who are asking for the right track; he guides us and fulfill our souls with the love we need.

May Allah accept all of our efforts and let heaven be our final destination, right next to his prophet Mohammed –peace be upon him-
